Cheltenham Town striker Steven Gillespie has made it clear he wants to leave the club after handing in a written transfer request.
Last week the Robins rejected a £350,000 bid from Colchester for the 23-year-old.
"It makes it more difficult for us to keep hold of him," chairman Paul Baker admitted to BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"The ball's in our court, he's got two years to go on his contract, we'll see what comes in."
