Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson has praised trialist goalkeeper Tommy Lee following their 1-0 pre-season win over Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old former Macclesfield keeper impressed against the Owls but Richardson is tight-lipped on whether he will sign the player.
He told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He's become a cult hero on the performance.
"Everybody wants to know who our goalkeepers are going to be, I don't want to say too much."
The Spireites also included two other trialists in the Saltergate win - Luton Town defender Alan Goodall and Ghanaian left-back Akwasi Oduro.
Goodall has been released by Luton and Oduro was previously on trial at Swindon.
Jamie Ward scored the only goal in the first half.
