Emmanuel Ntsane says not enough is being done to improve living conditions in Soweto.

He has been living in a shack with his wife and children for 26 years in the Klipspruit neighbourhood, where Soweto was founded in 1904.

The efforts of the Soweto political heroes mean little to him, as successive governments have failed to keep their promises to replace the Klipspruit shacks with proper houses.
