A faultless performance with the boot from debutant Jamie Foster helped move Saints within two points of Super League leaders Wigan. Saints built a comfortable first-half lead with tries from Scott Moore, Tony Puletua and James Roby to Leeds' single score through full-back Lee Smith. Leeds fought back through Brett Delaney, Ryan Hall and a late effort from Rob Burrow but it was not enough. Saints second-half tries came from Chris Flannery, Matty Ashurst and Roby.
