Isle of Man cyclist Peter Kennaugh is one of six British riders who will join new professional cycling squad Team Sky next season. The British Under-23 Champion is widely recognised as one of the most promising talents in World cycling. He said: "It's all I've ever wanted to do and it's what I've been working for my whole career." The team expect to take part in the Tour de France next year, with the aim of securing victory by 2014. Sprint star Mark Cavendish confirmed on Monday that he will stay at Columbia in 2010, ending speculation he would ride for Team Sky. The other riders named so far are Chris Froome, Steve Cummings, Geraint Thomas, Russell Downing and Ian Stannard.
