Histon striker Omer Riza has said he will be careful not to rush his return from a long-term hamstring problem.
The 31-year-old has been dogged by hamstring trouble since joining the club on non-contract terms.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I got 90 minutes under my belt against Grimsby without any tears, which is always on my mind at the moment.
"I know how well I will eventually be able to play, but it will take two or three games."
Riza scored as the Stutes were beaten 6-1 by Grimsby on Monday and looks set to play a key role in their battle to beat the drop from the Blue Square Bet Premier.
"I'm starting games slowly at the moment with my muscles taking time to warm up. I'm not too sure why, there could be a bit of scar tissue in there," he said.
"But it's only been the last few days that I've managed to get back out on grass owing to the weather so it'll all take time."
