Full-back Winnan used to captain the Cornish Pirates

Redruth have signed five new players ahead of the 2009/10 season in the newly formed National League One. Full-back Adryan Winnan and prop Sam Heard join from the Cornish Pirates, with winger Sam Parsons making the move from Mounts Bay. Backs Chris Morris and Jamie Semmens from the Cornish All Blacks complete the quintet. Redruth finished second behind Birmingham & Solihull last season in National Two.
