Charlton Athletic snap up QPR's Gary Borrowdale on loan
Borrowdale has made the move to Loftus Road
Charlton Athletic have signed Queens Park Rangers defender Gary Borrowdale on a month-long loan deal.
Borrowdale, 24, joins on emergency terms after the Addicks suffered injuries to Kelly Youga, Grant Basey and loanee Johnnie Jackson.
The left-back will be eligible for six games during his spell at the Valley, starting with the local derby against Gillingham on Saturday.
"Hopefully I'll be solid and an asset to the team," he told the club website.

The former Crystal Palace player has had few opportunities since Neil Warnock arrived at Loftus Road, but said he was confident of making his mark under Charlton boss Phil Parkinson.
"I wasn't in Neil Warnock's plans so this is a great opportunity for me to come here and be a part of something.
"Neil called me in and told me of Charlton's interest, and everything worked out to make the move possible."
He added: "It's a massive club which is pushing for promotion, so hopefully I can add something to the team. I try to get forward when I can, but my main priority is defending.
"I'm here to do my best for 28 days and if I do well, we'll see what QPR say."
