Harrogate Town manager Simon Weaver praised his team after their 2-0 win over Hyde on Monday.
Weaver was pleased with the way his side came back from losing at Southport on Saturday to take all three points.
He told BBC Radio York: "We're delighted to get the three points and that was what it was all about today.
"I picked a big strong physical team, made a few radical changes and tactically we went in depth and I got a fantastic response."
One of the changes on Monday included giving Stephen Hernandez a debut as goalkeeper and Weaver said he took his chance well.
"It was a superb debut because he was tested with some high balls," he said.
"He came out and took them. He took players out and he was really good and very loud on the pitch."
The defeat against Southport left Town fourth from bottom in the Blue Square North and Weaver admitted the win against Hyde was valuable as it moved them up to 14th.
He said: "I didn't look at the table for long [on Saturday]. I just saw where we were and got rid of it.
"Of course it's a concern. I looked at that and thought it's not a good record and confidence was low. But I didn't get into them after the game.
"We've got some great individuals and with a great attitude. We demanded commitment, passion and honesty from the lads and everyone that came in put in those attributes."
Meanwhile Harrogate have signed Rory Coleman from Scunthorpe United, the 18-year-old defender is at the club for a month on loan.
