Reid sees off Mbonambi
Robin Reid in action
Reid (left) completed the job inside two rounds
Former WBC super-middleweight champion Robin Reid enjoyed an easy victory over South Africa's Mondi Mbonambi at Liverpool Olympia on Friday.

Reid hurt Mbonambi with a flurry of right hands and the fight was stopped in the second round after his opponent complained of a torn muscle in his right shoulder.

Peter Culshaw won the vacant WBF super-flyweight crown with a unanimous points decision against Ncedo Cecane.

Culshaw's South African opponent rocked him with a big left hand and right hook in the eighth round.

But the former WBU flyweight champion recovered to improve his record to 23-1-1.

Plymouth's Scott Dann stopped Carshalton's Delroy Leslie in the first round of their British middleweight title eliminator in the quickest fight of the night.
