Nope. Russell Henley rolls in his own birdie!

A sickener for Shane. Who at least makes no mistake with his birdie putt.

Stays one hole between them. Two to go.

Big Shane is coming you know.

Fires a DART into the 16th green and that looks like a birdie for him.

Could drag Russell Henley back to all square.

Right then, where is this contest going to finish?

Not any time soon at the 18th. So that means the team members around the final green disperse on buggies towards the action.

Someone from the US team - possibly Bryson DeChambeau but I can’t tell for sure - is sprinting back down the fairway to watch JJ Spaun.

I’m guessing it’s him because his running style looks like the Michelin Man.

Matt Fitzpatrick was talking to BBC Radio 5 Live Sport after finishing all square against Bryson DeChambeau:

"Obviously disappointing, still half a point, that’s important.

"Where I had him after seven holes, it would have been nice to capitalise that a little bit more and get the job done.

"Look at the score – it’s not ideal where we are right now but I’ve got faith in the boys, they can come out and get this thing over the line."

  6. Bob all squarepublished at 21:50 BST 28 September

    Burns A/S MacIntyre (13)

Robert MacIntyre drills in a 10-foot putt to get it back to all square with Sam Burns.

The boy from Oban will be relishing this.

    Morikawa A/S Hatton (14)

Crikey, Europe could do with a putt or two to drop and Tyrrell Hatton shunts a six footer wide on the 14th.

That's a chance to go ahead against Collin Morikawa frittered away.

  8. Still out therepublished at 21:48 BST 28 September

    Two red, three all square

Europe need half a point to retain. One to win.

As it stands, they've just got enough.

  9. Scheffler edges out McIlroypublished at 21:45 BST 28 September

    Scheffler bt McIlroy 1UP

Scottie Scheffler nudges that up to the hole - to within four inches - and it is conceded by Rory McIlroy.

The American wins 1UP. Not a match of the highest calibre between two superstars. They are both exhausted.

But Scheffler did enough and will be thrilled he has not gone 0-5 for the week.

Scheffler stares at McIlroy’s ball and analyses his read.

Gimme? No chance. The New Yorkers cheer that decision.

But the pair shake when Scheffler lags his effort.

No denying it’s been a tough week for the world number one, but he’s finished on a positive note.

    1UP Scheffler v McIlroy (17)

This is fully 20 yards for Rory.

And that was an excellent effort. Hole-side. A four.

Scottie just needs to dribble this to the hole for the win.

    1UP Henley v Lowry (15)

Awesome shot by Shane Lowry on 16. Virtually certain three.

    A bit of breathing space.

But still enough on the board for Europe as it stands.

    Four red and no blue

Bryson DeChambeau lets rip when he secures a half, although he isn’t aware Ludvig Aberg has just stuck a blue point on the board.

Still, the Americans - true to style - continue to have unwavering conviction in their belief.

    They’re a confident bunch, aren’t they?

Scottie Scheffler’s shot into the last has done nothing to quell that.

Rory's ball is actually partly on the fringe too, just to make things harder.

But mainly the issue is it is in another postcode from the hole.

  16. DeChambeau & Fitzpatrick share the spoilspublished at 21:42 BST 28 September

    DeChambeau A/S Fitzpatrick (F)

Matt Fitzpatrick is up next...he rolls up more out of hope than the expecatation it'll drop but it is closer enough for Bryson DeChambeau to wander over and pick up the Englishman's ball.

The American has a putt of around three feet for a half...huge pressure on this... but he holes it and almost explodes with relief and joy.

    What. A. Match.

And Scottie hits his approach to the heart of the green. Unfathomable that he will not two-putt that.

So Rory needs to hole his. And that would be probably the greatest putt of all time if he does.

Scottie just needs to half this hole remember.

    1UP Scheffler v McIlroy (17)

Rory steps off in the face of heckling.

Resets and gets his wedge in behind the ball.

Holds the shaft after he hit it, in anxiety...

It's on the green but miles away. Horrible two putt.

If Bryson DeChambeau drains this putt it will be bedlam....

The pace isn't too bad but this is staying left and not coming back.
