Join us for an AI technology themed Live Lesson on Safer Internet Day 2025 as we explore how to stay safe online.

Designed for primary school pupils, this interactive lesson will tackle online safety challenges that young people face today.

The 30-minute Live Lesson will be live at 11:00 on Tuesday, 10 February on this page, on the CBBC channel and on BBC iPlayer.

What is Safer Internet Day?

Safer Internet Day is the UK’s biggest celebration of online safety, covering online issue or themes relevant to young people.

The theme for Safer Internet Day 2026 is ‘Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI’.

Safer Internet Day is co-ordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre in partnership with Childnet.
