Portsmouth boss Tony Adams says midfielder Lassana Diarra is close to a return to training.
"If he doesn't train Friday, he'll be back with the squad on Monday." Adams told BBC Radio Solent.
Diarra has missed the last five games with an ankle injury but is now close to returning to action.
"He won't make the Heerenveen game. The Bolton game might also come a bit too early for him, but I'm not going to rule him out. " Adams added.
Reports have linked Diarra with a number of clubs but Adams shrugged off speculation over the future of the Frenchman and other players at Fratton Park.
"All my good players are going to get linked and he's one of my good players. I'm expecting it," he said.
"I would kind of be insulted if they didn't get linked. If he (Diarra) does go, it will be my decision."
