Jefferson Louis agrees to cancel Crawley Town contract
Louis scored four goals in 17 games before joining Rushden on loan
Crawley Town forward Jefferson Louis and the club have mutually agreed to cancel the second year of his contract with immediate effect.
Louis has spent most of the season on loan at Rushden and Diamonds after joining Crawley last summer.
Reds boss Steve Evans said: "Jeff and I had a long chat and we agreed it would be best for both parties if he moved on to a new challenge.
"On behalf of everyone at Crawley Town, I wish the lad every success."
Louis told the club website: "It has not really worked out for me at Crawley Town so I will take up one of a few offers I have elsewhere.
"This is a good football club, they operate very professionally and have an ambitious manager. I wish them and all the lads every success next season, I really do."
