Charlton Athletic offer contracts to five youngsters
Charlton Athletic have offered professional contracts to five of their youngsters for next season.
The Addicks have offered new contracts to strikers Tamer Tuna and Lewis Perkins, defenders Yado Mambo and Carl Jenkinson and midfielder Ben Davisson.
But fellow second-year scholars Harry Pell, Liam Bellamy, Jack Binks and Liam Bellamy won't be offered deals.
Tuna and Mambo both appeared in the Charlton first-team in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy this season.
Tuna scored in the 4-1 win against Barnet in October, and also came off the bench in the 4-0 win at Tranmere in League One.
The 18-year-old has also had spells on "work experience" loan deals with Staines Town, Woking and Welling United this season.
Manager Phil Parkinson told the club's website: "All the boys have been a credit to themselves in terms of their attitude throughout their time at the club."
"Those who have been given pro contracts have earned them, but we also wish those players who were unsuccessful all the best.
"They will leave us highly recommended and they have all got a chance of making it back into league football at some point."
