Workington Reds manager Darren Edmondson has revealed that goalkeeper Adam Collin is set to join Carlisle United next season.
Collin, 24, has been training twice a week at Brunton Park, with a view to a permanent switch.
"From what I can gather they've agreed to take him for a year next year," Edmondson told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"I'm not going to stand in his way because he has been a great servant to us and I will wish him all the best."
Collin, who joined the Reds in 2004, started his career with Newcastle United before loan spells with Doncaster Rovers and Oldham Athletic.

He recently played his 200th game for the West Cumbrian club and has attracted interest from Sheffield Wednesday, Hibernian and Hereford in recent seasons.
"I know from speaking to [Carlisle boss] Greg Abbott they have been impressed with what they've seen in training and in the games they've been to watch," Edmondson added.
"Greg's looking forward to getting him in and working with him."
Edmondson also revealed he is hopeful the two clubs can strengthen their ties.
"There's different things we are talking to Greg and [managing director] John Nixon about so we'll keep the dialogue going," he said.
"Hopefully it will be discussions that will bear fruit for both clubs."
Abbott added: "Adam has been with us in training and we have been pleased with what we have seen.
"The talks are still at an early stage at the moment but we would like to do something with next season in mind."
