Gall made 11 appearances on loan at Lincoln earlier this season
Port Vale have completed the signing of Carlisle United striker Kevin Gall on a month's loan.
Gall, 27, will be available to make his debut in the League Two match against Macclesfield on Wednesday evening.
The Welshman last played for Carlisle in January 2008 and has since been on loan at Darlington and Lincoln.
Vale manager Dean Glover told BBC Radio Stoke: "Hopefully we can help kick-start his career again and we can get him off to a good start."
Gall made his name at Yeovil, scoring 29 goals in 154 games and leading them from the Conference to League One in the space of three seasons.
He joins Port Vale with Glover's side 17th in League Two and with discontent spreading around the club after a poor first season in the bottom division of the Football League.
Glover added: "With Kevin's experience and his age, it will help. He's probably been in this situation before.
"We want him to bring a little more spice to our forward line and score a few goals for us."
