Redruth have signed flankers Brett Stroud and Fraser Cliverd from neighbours Mounts Bay.
The duo will link up with their new team-mates when the Reds return to pre-season training on 22 June.
Head coach Nigel Hambly said: "They're both different players and welcome but it's going to be hard to get in the team with the players we've got.
"Brett's a good player who can cover all three back row positions, he's a genuine National One player."
"Fraser is young and up-and-coming and he really impressed me last year when we played against Mounts Bay," Hambly added.
After the retirement of lock Richard Carrol, Hambly is also looking to strengthen the second row.
He said: "We're speaking to a couple of people at the moment, but I don't want to mention anybody until the ink is dry on the contract.
"We'll probably have a couple more players coming hopefully; a second-row and probably another outside back but at the moment we're still in negotiations."
Hambly also revealed that he looks for more than just playing skills in potential new recruits.
"We want someone who comes and embraces what the club is about, knows a little bit about the history of the club and knows what's expected from the fans, which is 100% every time they take the field."
