Leeds Rhinos prop Kylie Leuluai has signed a new two-year deal with the Super League champions. The 31-year-old was out of contract at the end of the season and had been linked with a move to Wigan Warriors. "I am really happy to have signed the new deal because I believe that this is the best club in the competition to be playing at," said Leuluai. The former Manly Sea Eagles player joined Leeds in 2007 and this new deal will keep at Headingley until 2011. Leuluai added: "There was never any thought in my mind about moving to another club. Why would you want to play for anyone other than Leeds? "This is a successful club to be part of and I am looking forward to the next two years very much." Leuluai, cousin of Wigan scrum-half Thomas Leuluai, has made 78 appearances for the West Yorkshire club and was a member of their back-to-back Grand Final-winning teams. Head coach Brian McClennan explained: "It is great news, Kylie is a good man who has already been involved in some successes with the club and we hope there is more to come. "He is very important on and off the field for us."
