Huby has been an ever-present for Castleford this season
|
Castleford forward Craig Huby is set for a six-week spell on the sidelines after breaking his hand. He was injured as the Tigers suffered a 68-22 thrashing at home by St Helens, and was also accused of biting by Saints stand-off Leon Pryce. That allegation was placed on report by referee Ian Smith, but Pryce later decided not to proceed with the matter. The Rugby Football League's match review panel will instead write to Huby expressing their concern. His team-mate Rangi Chase is facing a threat to his ever-present record this season after being accused of making an illegal tackle in the Saints match. The ex-St George Illawarra stand-off has been charged with using a technique that puts undue pressure on the joint of an opponent - known as the 'chicken wing' tackle. He will appear before the RFL's disciplinary committee, along with Salford second-rower Ian Sibbit, who has been charged with a reckless high tackle in his side's 38-6 defeat at Catalans Dragons. Wigan second-rower Gareth Hock has received a caution for a dangerous throw in the Warriors' 44-10 win over Celtic Crusaders.
