Gateshead Thunder have been crowned Division Two champions following their 22-14 win at Workington on Sunday.
Thunder still have one game of the season remaining, when they meet Doncaster at Kingston Park on Thursday.
But despite the win coach Dave Woods told BBC Radio Newcastle he was disappointed with their performance: "I wasn't happy but we won.
"At the end of the day I pride myself on playing good football and I thought we let ourselves down."
