Martin Finnegan has been linked with a move to the Ballymoney-based JMF Millsport Yamaha team for next season.
Finnegan, from Lusk near Dublin, says he agreed terms with a team before travelling to the recent Macau Grand Prix where he finished 10th.
"I have been talking to a number of teams for some time and have had some really good offers," said Finnegan.
"While I have agreed terms I have yet to sign a contract with anyone as my present deal had not expired," he said.
