Dubliner Martin Finnegan was top Irishman in 10th place in Saturday's Macau Grand Prix.
Finnegan was a minute and 10 seconds behind winner England's Steve Plater who had four seconds to spare from runner-up John McGuinness.
With pole position man Michael Rutter only managing 11th place, Austrian Thomas Hinterreiter claimed the final podium position.
Crumlin rider Stephen Thompson was four laps down on the winner in 24th place.
Thompson was riding a Suzuki for the IGT Racing Team while Finnegan was aboard an MV Agusta 1000 EIR.
Rutter claimed had been going for a seventh Macau triumph but he appeared to suffer bike trouble in the 15-lap race.
Winner Plater was riding a AIM Yamaha while McGuinness was in action for the Stobart Honda team.
