Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has spoken of his disappointment at learning that striker Akpo Sodje has been ruled out for the season.
Sodje, 28, requires ankle surgery after tearing ligaments at Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.
"Akpo is going for an operation on his ankle and it's a big, big blow for myself and the team," said Laws.
"He has been an inspiration for us this season, some of his performances have been outstanding."
