Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has admitted he feels the club may face a battle to keep Dany N'Guessan.
The winger, 21, has been attracting interest from other clubs and rejected a new contract offered by Lincoln.
Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "At our last home game I think there were 17 clubs watching Dany, and some major clubs at that.
"We face an uphill battle to keep him but everyone can see why, he's a very talented young player."
Lincoln turned down two six-figure bids for N'Guessan from MK Dons during the January transfer window.
As the Frenchman is under 24, the Imps would be entitled to compensation if he moves to another club in the summer.
