Hull City record signing Jimmy Bullard played for the club's reserves on Tuesday evening as he nears a return to action after a serious knee injury.
Bullard has played just 37 minutes of first-team football for Hull since joining from Fulham in January.
But he scored for the reserves with a strike from the edge of the area during the Tigers' 2-1 loss to Bolton.
Bullard was substituted at half-time but reserve-team boss Aidan Davison said "45 minutes from him was plenty".
"It was the next step in his rehab, there is absolutely no problem at all," added Davison after the match at a rain-soaked North Ferriby.
"It was there for everyone to see that he was back to doing what he is all about."
Bullard, who injured his knee on his first-team debut at West Ham in January, could be in line for a return when the Tigers play his former club Fulham on 19 October.
