Lee Novak pens Huddersfield Town contract extension
Huddersfield Town forward Lee Novak has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the League One club until the summer of 2013.
The 21-year-old joined the Terriers from Gateshead in January 2009, making his debut at the start of last season.
He went on to score 14 goals in 45 appearances during his first campaign at the Galpharm Stadium to earn an extra year on his existing deal.
Boss Lee Clark told the club website: "The extension is thoroughly deserved."
He added: "We brought Lee in from non-league football and it might have been seen as a gamble and we didn't know how he would adapt, but he probably did better that he could have hoped for.
"There is still more to come from him, but he has set his own standards now and he needs to kick on. This is just the start for him."
