Fallon has been at the Glass World Stadium for over 10 years
Histon manager Steve Fallon has been sacked just three days after being reinstated at the club.
Fallon, who resumed his role on Sunday, was suspended at the start of December after a disagreement over a restructuring of the club's wage bill.
Alan Lewer has been put back in charge of first-team affairs.
"It was a unanimous decision of the board of directors to relieve him of his responsibilities," Histon chairman Tony Roach told the club's website.
"After resuming the role only yesterday it soon became very evident that underlying irreconcilable differences between Steve and myself and the board would preclude the partnership ever working for the benefit of Histon FC."
FALLON'S PROMOTIONS WITH HISTON
1999/2000 Eastern Counties League Premier Division
2003/04 Southern League Eastern Division
2004/05 Southern League Premier Division
2006/07 Conference South
Lewer, who will be assisted by Ian Hart, had been acting manager during Fallon's suspension.
Fallon was suspended on 7 December with Roach alleging he was asked to look at reducing four players' wages but "chose to tell the whole team that they were going to be released".
Neil Andrews, Jamie Barker, John Kennedy and Craig Pope were subsequently released.
Fallon took over the Cambridgeshire village team in 1999 and got them promoted four times from the Eastern Counties Premier Division to the Blue Square Premier play-offs.
