Fleet boss angry with early start
Liam Daish
Daish will have an earlier start than he expected on Saturday
Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish is furious one of the club's biggest games in years is starting at 1200 GMT because of police concerns about trouble.

Daish says the club will lose money because the first leg of the FA Trophy semi-final against Aldershot has been brought forward from 1500 on Saturday.

He told BBC Radio Kent: "I can't understand it. Ebbsfleet v Aldershot - we should be able to deal with that.

"I don't see any other constabularies bringing their games forward."

Why is it us? We'll probably lose a bit of money from it, it's not ideal but we'll get on with it

"Why is it us? We'll probably lose a bit of money from it, it's not ideal but we'll get on with it."

Daish is concerned that the overall crowd will be reduced as a result of the change. He has called on the supporters to "give the shopping a miss and come and cheer on the Fleet".

The winner of the two-legged tie will play either Torquay or York in the final at Wembley on 10 May.
