Bilyaletdinov moved to Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow last summer
Everton's Diniyar Bilyaletdinov says the Blues should qualify for the Champions League next season.
The 25-year-old Russian believes Everton will climb the table after finishing 8th this campaign.
"When we come back we need to work hard and have a good start," Bilyaletdinov told BBC Radio Merseisde.
"We must aim for the top four and it should happen. I need a rest and to start the new season with big feelings I can do more than this season."
Bilyaletdinov has played football for over a year without an extended break, having moved to the Blues halfway through the Russian League season in August.
Despite the lack of rest, he has made an impact at Goodison Park in his first season, scoring a number of spectacular goals including his strike in the 3-1 win over Manchester United in February, which was voted Everton's goal of the season.
However Bilyaletdinov believes the stoppage time winner in Sunday's 1-0 victory Portsmouth was superior.
"The goal against Manchester United was something special at Goodison Park and we won 3-1, but today's was better, the guys have told me it was better," Bilyaletdinov said.
"I think the most important and beautiful was the goal against Portsmouth."
The Russian international is glad to see the Blues are having some good fortune with late goals in matches, although he does admit they have also had their fair share of bad luck during the season.
"We've taken a draw in the last minute three times this season against Arsenal, West Ham and Aston Villa," he said. "Now we've won our last three games in the last minute.
"Sometimes you think it's not lucky, but today is more lucky than other days."
