Harrogate Town finish bottom of Blue Square North table
Weaver has already started planning his squad for next season
Harrogate Town will finish bottom of Blue Square North after drawing 1-1 at home to Gloucester City.
The result means Town, who have one game remaining this season, cannot catch Vauxhall Motors above them.
Dave Syers put Town ahead on 77 minutes but Jack Harris scored in the last minute to clinch a draw for Gloucester.
Town manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "They're a good set of lads but it's that's little bit of naivety we've got defensively."
He continued: "I think it just sums it up really. They can play a bit going forward. They've great spirit, great attitude, they keep going to the final whistle and keep battling.
"But it's doing the ugly side of the game really well and that comes with naivety.
"We restricted them to just that chance in the second half and very few chances overall. I don't think it was a bad performance overall."
Harrogate Town finish their season at home to Northwich Victoria on Saturday and despite being consigned to the bottom spot, Weaver said there is still something to play for.
"We had that win at Gloucester last week, we played well on Saturday and narrowly lost and it was a good performance tonight.
"I think if we get a good win it'll be a nice send off for this season and you never know we might get reprieved.
"There's rumours going off everywhere so we want the biggest points tally we could possible get and we do that by getting three points."
