Gainsborough Trinity have parted company with manager Steve Charles four games into the new season.
The Blue Square North side lost 3-2 at Hyde United on Monday, leaving them in 10th place having taken four points.
Trinity chairman Peter Swann told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "After a lengthy discussion with Steve I thought it best his contract be terminated.
"It wasn't an easy decision to make but thought it would be better if Steve parted company with the club."
Gainsborough have only won one game so far this season. They are next in league action at home to AFC Telford United on Saturday.
