St Paul's kept on track to retain their title after a 2-1 win at home to Trinity, increasing their lead at the top to three points.
Trinity took the lead after 14 minutes when Steven McCarter pounced to score only the third league goal conceded by St Paul's this season.
But St Paul's fought back almost immediately through Craig Leitch to bring the scores level.
Leitch then sealed all three points with a 75th minute penalty.
The penalty was awarded after St Paul's substitute Dane Sutton was brought down by James Haywards inside the Trinity area, with the defender subsequently sent off for a second yellow.
The win keeps St Paul's on track to become the first side to win six trophies in one season.
St Paul's are now three points clear at the top of the league with 22 points from eight games, whilst Grouville's 4-0 win over St Ouen takes them up to second with 19 points.
Trinity are now third with 17 points after 10 games.
St Paul's assistant manager Martin Cassidy told BBC Jersey:
"It was a tough game after eight weeks of not being involved in any competitive game and in the first half we were really sluggish.
"We fought hard, we made the change to try and freshen things up on the right, and Dane Sutton came in for his first game and caused problems, and set up the goal which won us the game.
"Really pleased with the result more than anything else, because that was a tough one for your first game in eight weeks."
