Jersey's Peter Irving has won silver in the men's 400m hurdles at the Island Games in Aland. Irving edged out Rhodes' Mihalis Seitis by 0.02 seconds to clinch second place with a time of 53.81. The gold medal went to Junior Hines of the Cayman Islands who ran home in 52.67 seconds. This is Jersey's third athletics medal of the Games after earlier bronzes for Daniel Halksworth in the men's 10,000m and Jason Fox in the High Jump.
