World Cup muscle: Andrew Sheridan
England prop Andrew Sheridan
Height: 1.93m (6ft 4in)
Weight: 122kg (19st 2lb)
Age: 28 Caps: 13

The massive England loose-head typifies the new breed of giant props in the game.

Described by Sale head coach Kingsley Jones as the strongest man he's ever met, Sheridan, who has been hit by a series of injuries, played senior club rugby as both a lock and a back rower before switching to the front row.

"Big Ted" moved to prop as recently as 2003 and first came to national attention when he single-handedly destroyed the weak Australia scrum in 2005.
