One of the biggest selection surprises of recent years, Jamie Dalrymple joined the squad for the ill-fated home series against Sri Lanka in 2006.
He has now played over 20 one-day matches and has quickly settled into the England set-up with some wholehearted performances.
Hit 67 in his second match and can add useful later order runs, in addition to steady off-spin and sound fielding, as exemplified by a stunning one-handed catch in the CB series final triumph.
