Once the rallies break out, Andy Murray's greater variety and consistency usually come through for the Briton.
But Radek Stepanek is strangling most of the exchanges at source with some effective old-school serve and volley.
The Czech moves 40-15 up with the one-two punch. But now a double fault has brought Murray back into the game.
