PC charged with stealing cash while on duty

A Warwickshire Police officer has been charged with stealing property, including cash and jewellery, during the course of his duties.

PC Robert Davies, 48, will appear before magistrates at Warwick Justice Centre, charged with three counts of theft.

The force carried out an investigation into the alleged thefts, which reportedly happened between November 2023 and February this year, the Independent Office for Police Conduct said.

Mr Davies will appear in court on Friday.
