A
dressed yellow snapper fish
1 ½ tea spoons chilli powder
1 ½ teaspoons spoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons turmeric
2 table spoons of garlic and ginger sauce
Natural flavour Yoghurt
Garam masala
METHOD
First
scale and gut the Snapper Fish (if it has not already been dressed
by your Fishmonger).
Cut of the tail and fins, and slice the body ready for seasoning.
Season the fish with chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and
salt. Add a small amount of yoghurt for flavour.
Leave to marinate (stand) in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan, add fish, turning
occasionally.
Cover the frying pan and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serving suggestions:
Serve Shallow Fried Fish with rice or chapattis.
