Josh evicted from Big Brother
Josh is evicted from the Big Brother house
Property manager Josh has become the latest housemate to be evicted from Channel 4's reality TV programme Big Brother.
The 32-year-old was the overwhelming choice of telephone voters and is the sixth person to be forced out of the house.
He received 84% of the 1.4 million telephone votes cast and looked visibly shocked when told the news. Josh was the "11th member" of the Big Brother house and was chosen by viewers to enter the programme following the first eviction. He told Big Brother presenter Davina McCall that viewers had kept Helen in the house because they wanted to see her much-reported relationship with Paul continue. He said it was difficult to come into the house two weeks after everyone else. "It was really hard. I felt it was a struggle to bond with people," he said. 'Bubbly' He added: "I felt when I arrived I couldn't be as explosive as I hoped to be." He said the other housemates did not get to know "the real Josh". He described Paul as "stupid", Brian as "screeching", Helen as "bubbly" and said he "really liked" Elizabeth . "It is quite stressful and you do get paranoid and people are not being themselves," he said. He added: "I did not expect a lot out of Big Brother but I really enjoyed it... and when I come away from all this I will realise what it has done for me." 'Dirty laundry' He said he wanted either Dean or Elizabeth to win. Earlier, as Helen faced the possibility of eviction, Davina McCall told viewers of the programme that Helen's boyfriend, Gavin, had broken off their relationship. "He did not want to wash his dirty laundry in public," she said, explaining his absence in the studio. "He does not want to go out with Helen any more but he still thinks she's a lovely girl," she added. Helen's boyfriend was distressed at the relationship between the hairdresser and Paul over the last week in the house. Competing With only five members of the household left in the house attention once again turns to next week's nominations. The remaining housemates - Paul, Dean, Helen, Elizabeth and Brian - are competing to win the 70,000 prize on offer. Paul, who has survived four previous eviction votes, is once again favourite to be thrown out in what will be the last week of evictions before the final week of the series. Official Big Brother bookmaker Paddy Power are offering evens odds on Paul being the seventh housemate evicted, ahead of Helen at 7-4 and Elizabeth at 3-1. Brian remains favourite to win the series, with odds of 1-4, while Paul is second favourite with odds of 5-1.
