Falcons lock trio sign new deals

Local boy Jason Oakes has impressed in his debut season
|
Newcastle Falcons have handed new two-year deals to second rows Jason Oakes, Andy Buist and Sean Tomes.
Oakes, 29, has impressed since joining from Division One side Otley last year, and has the option of a third year.
"Jason is a local lad who has worked extremely hard," said Falcons forwards coach Peter Walton.
"Both Andy and Sean continue to make good progress, and we look forward to working with all three players as our pack continues its improvement."
