Leinster secured their first win in the Magners League by beating Cardiff Blues at Donnybrook on Saturday night.
The Irish province led 10-6 at the break with Michael Berne scoring a late try and Felipe Contepomi adding a conversion and a penalty.
Ben Blair kicked two penalties to keep the Welsh side well in touch.
Contepomi knocked over two second-half penalties to one from Blair while Gary Powell and Bradley Davies of Blues and Leinster's Will Green were sin-binned.
Blair put the Blues ahead with his 18th minute effort but Contepomi missed his first penalty attempt before making amends with a 23rd-minute kick.
Blair booted the Blues ahead again two minutes later, but three minutes before the interval Australian centre Berne completed a fine Leinster move to score the only try of the game.
Contepomi converted and soon after Ireland international flanker Keith Gleeson came on for the injured Niall Ronan.
Powell was sin-binned shortly after the restart for punching Will Green and Contepomi knocked over a penalty to extend his side's advantage.
Blair was off target with a penalty attempt as his side tried to get back into the game.
Full-back Blair and fly-half Contepomi traded penalties and late in the game Blues lock forward Davies and Leinster prop Green were sin-binned for separate offences.
