Stade de France, Paris
Kick-off: 2000 BST

Argentina will field the same team that beat Scotland for Sunday's World Cup semi-final against South Africa.

The Pumas had several injury concerns but Juan Martin Hernandez, Felipe Contepomi, Ignacio Corleto and captain Agustin Pichot have been passed fit.

Argentina are playing in their first World Cup semi-final to become the first team from outside the Tri-Nations and Six Nations to reach the last four.

They have lost all 11 previous meetings with South Africa.

Playmaker and fly-half Hernandez (leg), scrum-half Pichot (back), full-back Corleto (knee) and centre Contepomi (flu) all sat out contact training on Thursday, but all have been passed fit.

There was one change on the bench with centre Gonzalo Tiesi replacing utility back Hernan Senillosa, who came on in the second half of the 19-13 quarter-final victory over Scotland.

Pumas coach Marcelo Loffreda insists the side that wins the mental battle will book their berth in the final.

"This World Cup is where one's head plays a big part...apart form the physical side, against South Africa it's fundamental," Loffreda said.

"How each team are feeling in their heads will be decisive and Argentina will go into the match in a very good state of mind.

"The mental state, for me, is what's going to settle the match."

Argentina will go into the match at the Stade de France as underdogs but director of rugby Les Cusworth said their spirit and passion could surprise people.

"What no one should under-estimate is the collective will of the Argentina players," said Cusworth, a former England fly-half.

"They have a real pride in playing for their country. I have been involved in rugby for 40 years and I have never seen anything like it.

"We also have a base of players that other countries would die for. We go into the semi-final with a side that has been developed over the last six or seven years and that gives us every chance. The players are warriors."

Argentina: Corleto, Borges, M Contepomi, F Contepomi, Agulla, Martin Hernandez, Pichot (capt); Roncero, Ledesma, Scelzo, CI Fernandez Lobbe, Albacete, Ostiglia, JM Fernandez Lobbe, Longo Elia.
Replacements: Basualdo, Hasan, Kairelis, Leguizamon, Fernandez Miranda, Todeschini, Tiesi.
