Wiki is the most-capped player in rugby league history
|
Former New Zealand captain Ruben Wiki will lead the 'All Golds' in the centenary international against the Northern Union on 20 October.
The match commemorates 100 years of international competition and will act as a warm-up to the autumn Test series between Great Britain and New Zealand.
Stacey Jones and Nigel Vagana will come out of international retirement to feature for the tourists at Warrington.
The Northern Union will feature members of the Great Britain training squad.
Wiki's New Zealand Warriors team-mate Steve Price will fill the role of Dally Messenger, the Australian who was a guest player with the original All Golds team on their 1907-08 tour to the UK.
Price comes in for stand-off Darren Lockyer who was forced to withdraw following a season-ending knee injury picked up in July.

New Zealand will play three Tests against Great Britain in October and November in addition to other warm-up matches.
Wiki, the most-capped player in rugby league history, and Vagana, New Zealand's record tryscorer, and Jones announced their retirement from international rugby after last November's Tri Nations Series final defeat by Australia.
The rest of the All Golds side, which will be coached by veteran Australian Wayne Bennett, will be filled by New Zealand players from clubs in England and players in the touring Kiwis team.
