Synchro duo Randall and Allison win silver in Germany
Randall and Allison have increased the difficulty of their routine
Britain's top synchronised swimming duo finished on an international podium together for the first time, with silver at the German Open in Bonn.
Jenna Randall and Olivia Allison were only 0.1 points off winners France, scoring 89.5125 with a new routine.
Great Britain also won bronze in the free combined final and Randall, 21, from Surrey, was second in free solo.
"We got the feedback we needed for our new routines, which was important," said performance director Biz Price.
Randall and Allison have increased the degree of difficulty in their programme since last season, when they reached world finals in both the technical and freestyle disciplines.
The event in Bonn combined the two disciplines, as in Olympic competition.
