Sheffield Steelers booked their place in Sunday's Elite League play-off final with a 2-1 semi-final win over Cardiff Devils at the National Ice Centre.
Doug Sheppard gave Steelers the lead, scoring the first of his two goals in the 18th minute of the first period.
Max Birbraer grabbed an equaliser with a stunning strike before the Israel
international missed a penalty shot.
Steelers sealed the win late on with a rebound after Joey Talbot's shot was blocked by goaltender Phil Osaer.
Sheffield will play league champions and British Knockout Cup holders Coventry in Sunday's final.
