Stephens captained the Devils to lift the A38 Trophy

Plymouth Devils claimed their first silverware of the season by beating Somerset Giants in the A38 Trophy. Nicki Glanz was the star for the Devils, scoring 15 points in a five-ride maximum. Skipper Seemond Stephens was also on form for the home side, picking up 12 points from his four rides. Only number one rider Mick Dyer [12 points] broke into double figures for the Giants, as Plymouth dominated the tie to pick up the Trophy.
