Three young sport stars from Northamptonshire have made the Great Britain team for the European Youth Olympic Festival in Finland. Lucas Rowe (judo), Themba Luhana (athletics) and Myles Crouch-Anderson (swimming) are part of the 61-strong team heading to Tampere this month. Crouch-Anderson, 15, told BBC Radio Northampton: "I can't wait to represent my country." "It's a stepping stone on the way towards being in the Olympics." He will be competing in the 4x200m relay, the 400m freestyle and the 1500m freestyle. "If I don't win the 400m freestyle I'll be really upset. Anything else is a bonus," added Crouch-Anderson. Gymnast Hannah Whelan participated in the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2007, and went on to represent Team GB at the Beijing Olympic Games last year.
