Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray is targeting the club's pre-season tour of Scotland in July to make a long-awaited return from his latest injury.
The 27-year-old missed all of last season with a knee injury but he is confident a return is imminent.
"My aim is to play in Scotland if the gaffer wants me to, which will be great," he told the Wolves website.
"I saw a specialist and he was really happy with my knee. He took the tiniest bit of fluid but it's nothing serious."
Murray needed two operations to mend the ligaments in his joint which also required a bone graft from his hip. But he says he can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
"I'll be starting running and then it's just loads of plyometrics to get my spring back and then hopefully doing a bit of handling again.
"I'd like to be involved in pre-season as much as possible and will do some extra maintenance myself to keep the leg strong.
"And the more I can get done, the more chance I've got to push Wayne Hennessey and Carl Ikeme."
