Oxford United defender Shane Killock says he is eager to see team-mate Adam Chapman join him in making a permanent move to the Kassam Stadium.
United signed the pair on loan on 2 January. Killock signed a permanent deal this week, but Chapman is still contracted to Sheffield United.
Killock told BBC Oxford: "I'd really like to see him back.
"It's not just from a personal point of view, it's also what he brings to the side - he's a very good footballer."
Chapman, a Northern Ireland Under-21 international, impressed in a number of positions and he has hinted he would be open to a return to Oxford.
